I have always wanted to visit here. The land of the Māori and of the Pounamu. The food portions are large, the amount of lemon slices I get with my English breakfast tea are plentiful, the temperature has been great for swimming, and the united cultures have a fascinating hierarchy -- that's something you can ask me about in person.
For the journey, I decided to do several culture power-moments, instead of hopping around island to island. I've made some local friends including a powerful 6'5" Professional Rower; spoken on several occasions to the Māori, and the other New Zealanders, deep conversations. I watched the HaKa thrice. One Live (image below), and two (The All Blacks and The Black Ferns) at the All Blacks Experience, on a state-of-the art full giant life size stadium screen with surround sound. The exquisite tree you see is next to the Auckland Museum, along with the Pounamu collection video. A trip by ferry to beautiful Devonport, and creating a music video with a New Zealand videographer, for the title track of my JVC/Victor-Japan recorded album, The Royal Dragon and The Rhythm Within. The exquisite Pounamu you see above and below is THE Sacred Nephrite which the All Blacks Team brings with them to all of their Rugby Tournaments. My rare snowflake Pounamu is briefly resting / charging / sharing Mana atop it via one of the images below. I wrote a sacred track here, titled Soul Anchor.
What I love about HaKa ~ is the elevation of Mana, the Energy & the value of GrandParents as they come alive within. Elements of Soul Photography, Sofia ~ The Great and raising energy to use wisely (ie Positive-Majik) are all a big part of this transformative art-form, which may either be watched or utilized. I grasp this intrinsically as a Soul-Artist and utilize very similar elements. The HaKa performance, done by both females and males brought goosebumps to me, because it was an exceptionally individual energy — while in heightened unison. A Blessed moment. The Māori likewise saved seats for their ancestors as in my track An Artist without an Audience … all of this is synchronicity and I adored watching this primordial art and expression. Souls unite through time and culture.
I likewise enjoyed watching a film at the Victoria Theater in Devonport about Perugino, visiting the splendid Pounamu shops: Gallery Pacific and Fingers, enjoying the King Penguins at the underground aquarium, seeing a gorgeous erotic Dali and one of my favorite Picasso originals at the Auckland Art Gallery, getting a beautiful blue bird Lomonosov egg at Crystal Symphony, and enjoying food at Amano (A+).
4/12 Special Island Day, took a ferry to Waiheke Island. Met Master Pounamu Carver & Sculptor Paora Toi-Te-Rangiuaia, he shared in detail his exceptional Nephrite Jade Mask created of his Mother (see video below). He also gifted me with the Hongi Māori greeting, and a Bowenite Pounamu, very grateful for those. A walk by the sea and a Rainbow appeared to complete the perfect day, in the evening wrote a a new piece, titled The State of Homeostasis based on another excellent moment of the day.
Enjoyed seeing a Kiwi bird in a zoo cave, the Tuatara reptile, and a family of Giraffes. Upon the release of The Royal Dragon project, got a translucent Inanga Pounamu ~ inspiring two poems, In These Moments, There is Peace & Inanga (see below).
